Our heritage
Mainstay Partners Limited can trace its origins back to 1907 when Harold Moore and Albert Partridge established the auditing and consulting firm that would later become Moore Stephens. By the 1930s the firm had cemented its position as the leading advisor to the Greek shipping community in London and was developing a network of international offices. Sixty years later this network encompassed every major shipping location around the globe. When the main London office of Moore Stephens joined BDO in 2019, we remained independent and now operate under the Mainstay brand.
What we do now
Mainstay Partners Limited is a boutique professional services firm providing a one-stop-shop for the needs of shipping companies and the broader maritime sector. Internationally, we work alongside other members of the Mainstay Alliance.​ Our team includes not only qualified auditors and accountants but also individuals who have worked for shipping companies and other participants in the maritime industry, including seafarers with experience of serving onboard. This puts us in a unique position to understand both the finances and operations of shipping companies and provide first-class professional services to our clients.
